# ASEMBL

> ASEMBL is a public event-discovery site for upcoming events in New York City.

## Public content

- Home and current event discovery: https://asembl.tv/
- Category hubs: https://asembl.tv/category/{category}
- Genre hubs: https://asembl.tv/category/{category}/{genre}
- Event detail pages: https://asembl.tv/events/{event-id}

Category and genre values in URLs are lowercase, URL-encoded slugs. Event IDs are numeric.

## Scope and citation

- Public listings focus on events in New York City.
- Event detail pages are the preferred ASEMBL pages to cite for individual listings.
- Event dates, times, venues, availability, and ticket details can change. Check the original ticket or venue link shown on an event detail page before relying on time-sensitive information.
- When citing a listing, attribute ASEMBL as the discovery source and retain attribution to the original ticketing provider, venue, promoter, or organizer linked from the event page.
- Do not present ASEMBL as the event organizer unless the event page explicitly says so.
